This is a Chinese name; the family name is Guo (郭).

Guo Huai (187 - 255) was a Wei general during the Three Kingdoms era of China who served under Cao Cao. He later rose up through the ranks during Cao Pi's reign, eventually becoming a grand marshal serving under Sima Yi. He made many contributions to the Kingdom of Wei. While pursuing a retreating Jiang Wei he was shot by an arrow and died.
