In that case you should prove it and state on the website that there is no copyright and that the image and ifnormation belongs in public domain. Better yet - you could re-write the (wikipedia) article, which is sorely needed - it reads like a tribute to the person, not an encyclopedia entry. As for the image, I cant help but be suspicious - if you made the image yourself, why do you post it in exactly the same low resolution as the one on the website? If you are the proper owner will probably have a high resolution version, or you should change the disclaimer on the website.
