Gunton, Manitoba

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gunton is a small hamlet of about 50 people located 40 kilometers north of Winnipeg, Manitoba in the RM of Rockwood (in the Interlake region). It has no major industry as most residents work in Winnipeg or surrounding towns. Claims to fame include a bull test station (the only one in the Interlake) and a long-abandoned quarry, recently seen in the 1997 made-for-TV movie, Trucks.
