Günter Schlierkamp (born February 2, 1970) is a German IFBB pro bodybuilder.

Schlierkamp was born in Olfen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany, where he grew up on a farm. Given his friendly demeanour and the fact that he is almost always smiling, Günter is one of the sports' most popular pro's and always a fan favourite. In 1996 he married Carmen Jourst and moved to the USA, but they divorced in 2003. Four years later, he married American personal trainer Kim Lyons in March 2007.

After a good showing at the 2005 Mr. Olympia contest coming in 4th, Günter started training with legendary trainer Charles Glass who trained him in 2002 which placed him above 8 time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman at the GNC Show of Strength. Bringing back his training with Charles Glass to hopefully give him an edge for the 2006 Mr. Olympia Title but didn't manage to hold on to his position and came out with 10th place.

Gunter has decided that he will not be competing in 2007, and will decide if he'll come back for 2008 or not.

Gunter starred in the 2006 American movie Beerfest, released by Broken Lizard comedy group.
