Gunnar Garfors (born 29 May 1975 in Hammerfest, Norway) is the Director of Development in the Division of Development and New Media of Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) in Oslo. He headed the launch of live TV to mobile phones as the first in the world. Garfors has also been one of the pioneers of a number of other innovative mobile services, i.e. the world's first personalized ads on mobile TV service and advanced forms of interactivity.
Garfors holds a Bachelors Degree (Hons) from Falmouth College of Arts in Great Britain and a Master of Management degree from Norwegian Business School.
He is very well travelled, mainly due to his interest in foreign cultures.
