71.55.76.149 20:41, 18 February 2007 (UTC)Gulf Coast Military Academy did't close in 1951. I know because I attended GCMA in 1959-60. Col. Sevell was the principal at that time. He latter became the principal, I believe , of Gulfport HS. Also, GCMA was located in Mississippi City not Gulfport. One of my teachers name was Capt. Ware. I also remember the names of some of my former classmates; John W. Thetford, Goldberg, and Don Driggers.
