Gulltoppr
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In Norse mythology, Gulltoppr (Golden Mane, sometimes Anglicized Gulltopp) is one of the horses of the gods.
Gulltoppr is mentioned in a list of horses in Grímnismál and in Nafnaþulur. According to Snorri Sturluson's Prose Edda he is the horse of Heimdallr. It has been suggested that Snorri assigned a horse to Heimdallr in an attempt to systematize the mythology.
