[edit] Wikimedia Canada
Hi there! I'd like to invite you to explore Wikimedia Canada, and create a list of people interested in forming a local chapter for our nation. A local chapter will help promote and improve the organization, within our great nation. We'd also like to encourage everyone to suggest projects for our national chapter to participate in. Hope to see you there!--DarkEvil 17:11, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Citing Sources
Your edit of the article "British Raj" made 15:47, 8 March 2006 (added paragraph about beginning of company) does not have proper citation. Please add references (and if you used a specific work, could you provide me pg numbers and bibliographic information?) Thanks. User:cnelson
[edit] Request for edit summary
Hi. I am a bot, and I am writing to you with a request. I would like to ask you, if possible, to use edit summaries a bit more often when you contribute. The reason an edit summary is important is because it allows your fellow contributors to understand what you changed; you can think of it as the "Subject:" line in an email. For your information, your current edit summary usage is 0% for major edits and 0% for minor edits. (Based on the last 150 major and 0 minor edits in the article namespace.)
This is just a suggestion, and I hope that I did not appear inpolite. You do not need to reply to this message, but if you would like to give me feedback, you can do so at the feedback page. Thank you, and happy edits, Mathbot 03:31, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sean Avery
Thanks for cleaning up the Sean Avery page, I was hoping not to have to do that myself. Good job! AMac2002 14:35, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
Good edits on Bollywood. If you can copyedit, Gujuguy, you have a bright future ahead of you working on Indian cinema articles, because there are many of them that need help! Zora 19:55, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ice hockey country
A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Ice hockey country, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but yours may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Message from 220.225.35.3
Well i saw the page on 'Hemanta Kumar' where you had added the biodata section and found that you had mentioned, | Origin = Varanasi, United Provinces of Agra and Oudh, British India
My question is why was it not mentioned as simply Varanasi, India. What was your idea behind this?
I go to Thomas Jefferson's page and there is no mention of British US Colony where he was born.
Do refrain from such acts and be sensible while contributing to wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.225.35.3 (talk)
[edit] Template:1993 Montreal Expos season game log
What are you planning on doing with Template:1993 Montreal Expos season game log? A template can't exist independently, it needs to be transcluded somewhere. Corvus cornixtalk 23:12, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- Cool, thanks for explaining. Corvus cornixtalk 23:33, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Kumkum (actress)
Another editor has added the {{prod}}
template to the article Kumkum (actress), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 01:00, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
