[edit] Image:GirlMorph.jpg listed for deletion

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:GirlMorph.jpg has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, a non-profit website, this is in fact not the case. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Sherool (talk) 21:21, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
Okay... The image was around for over 24 hours before it was deleted, so there is rely no way for anyone to know that you where "just about" to change the license. Anyway I have undeleted the image and temporarily labeled it as "no license" for now. That should give you about a week to update the license terms before it is deleted again. If you have not already done so see Wikipedia:Image copyright tags/Free licenses for a list of acceptable licenses. Thanks. --Sherool (talk) 12:20, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
Oh, and one little thing. Make sure all the images used to create the morth are also copyrighted by you or public domain, otherwise the morth will just be a unauthorised derivative work that you could not legaly release under a free license without the permission from the people who own the copyright to the orginal photos. --Sherool (talk) 12:25, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
Thanks. Sorry, I only visit this site a few times a month. --gujamin 02:15, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wikimania in Atlanta!

Hi! I noticed your involvement on U.S. South-related articles, categories and WikiProjects, and I wanted to let you know about a bid we're formulating to get next year's Wikimania held in Atlanta! If you would like to help, be sure to sign your name to the "In Atlanta" section of the Southeast team portion of the bid if you're in town, or to the "Outside Atlanta" section if you still want to help but don't live in the city or the suburbs. If you would like to contribute more, please write on my talk page, the talk page of the bid, or join us at the #wikimania-atlanta IRC chat on freenode.org. Have a great day!

P.S. While this is a template for maximum efficiency, I would appreciate a note on my talk page so I know you got the message, and what you think. This is time-sensitive, so your urgent cooperation is appreciated. :) Mike H. I did "That's hot" first! 09:04, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
