Gujarat Mail

Gujarat Mail is a route of Indian Railways. It is one of the oldest overnight superfast mail trains running on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad section of the Western Railways.

The train was originally numbered as 1DN/2UP Mail & is today renumbered to 2901DN/2902UP.

This 24 coach Mail, usually hauled by a WCAM-2 electric locomotive has scheduled stops at Valsad, Surat & Vadodara among many others.

The train does not carry any postal mail any more.

This train has a record of having the highest number of AC coaches(10) among all trains in India (except Rajdhani & Shatabdi Exp.)
