[edit] Assassins Guild
I've removed the reference to Lord Vetinari legalising the Assassins. This was implied in the earlier books, but later volumes have made it clear the Guild is long-established as a respectable establishment and school for gentlemen, and indeed the young Havelock Vetinari was a student (as referred to in many books and confirmed in Night Watch).
