Guildingia is a genus of chitons in the family Mopaliidae.
They are large, with smooth valves, and a wide girdle thickly beset with long hair-like processes. There are eight slits in the head valve, one on each side in the median valves, and none in the posterior valve.
They are endemic to New Zealand.
