[edit] OHL teams in Tier II
Alright... I've added the whole Guelph CMC's/Platers thing to the poit that I am somewhat satisfied with. I've added some Windsor Spitfires history... including a brief name change in the '70s. I've also found the Kingston Frontenacs and Belleville Bulls that I will be adding soon. Interesting though... the Frontenacs first season ever (this franchise) was 1972-73... even after a losing season they were granted expansion. DMighton 20:39, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- Basically, I just got lucky... I just found 4/6 years of the SOJAHL standings, 1/2 years of the WOJAHL standings, and 14/15 years of the OPJHL/OJHL's standings minus a mysteriosly missing 76-77 record for the Guelph Platers... lotta info... DMighton 21:01, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- I have created redirects for "Guelph Imperials" and "Guelph Beef Kings" to Guelph CMC's. Flibirigit 21:30, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

- I am just sorting out the standings now so I can figure out where the teams ranked. DMighton 21:59, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Junior B or Junior A?
User:63.3.22.130 made the following changes at 20:00, on December 11, 2006. Can anyone verify theses?
"a junior ice hockey team in the Ontario Hockey Association as a Junior 'B' team from 1968 to 1970"
"a junior ice hockey team in the Ontario Hockey Association as a Junior 'A' team in the new Western Junior A league from 1968 to 1970,"
Thanks. Flibirigit 15:04, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- OK, I looked into it and this is what I've come up with... In 1968, the owners of the Western Junior B took the league renegade and renamed it the Western Junior A Hockey League in the same fashion as the WCJHL. They asked the City of Guelph if they were interested in joining and they said that they wanted to as they had been without a Junior A team since the Guelph Royals folded. So, in the WJAHL 1968-69 season there was the Guelph Imperials.... in 1969-70 they became the Beef Kings.... in 1970-71 they became the CMC's and in 1972 they became the CMC's Biltmore Mad Hatters.
- The change does seem to be accurate. DMighton 16:03, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

- I actually have the 1968-69 standings but I was holding them back until I could get the 1969-70 WJAHL standings. DMighton 16:14, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
