Patti was born in Paris France. She chose her artist name from the nickname she had as a child Guesch. Patty is a pet name for Patricia. She first started her career at dancing at age 9 when she performed in a ballet at the Opéra National de Paris. Her biggest hit was the 1987 hit Étienne from her album Labyrinthe. The song was certified a gold single in France and the single went to the number one spot in nine countries.
