Gualdo Cattaneo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Perugia in the Italian region Umbria, located about 25 km southeast of Perugia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,251 and an area of 96.7 km².[1]
The municipality of Gualdo Cattaneo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Barattano, Ceralto, Cerquiglino, Cisterna, Collesecco, Grutti, Marcellano, Pomonte, Ponte di Ferro, Pozzo, San Terenziano, Saragano, and Torri.
Gualdo Cattaneo borders the following municipalities: Bettona, Bevagna, Cannara, Collazzone, Giano dell'Umbria, Massa Martana, Montefalco, Todi.
