The United States maintains a camp where captives taken in the course of the war on terror are held. The US Department of Defense insist this is not a Prisoner of War camp, and the captives are not Prisoners of War. As of April 1, 2007 24 of the captives either face charges before a military commission, or the DoD has announced that charges are being worked on. None of the rest of the captives have faced any charges.
