The college is situated on Karur Road. Nearby a small pond is there. It is just one stop before the RVS Engineering College. It is an Autonomous College under Kamaraj University, Madurai. The college is run by a trust of Soundaraja Mills P Ltd., Dindigul.

A Good Old library with all categories of books is there. Students are involved in all types of extra curricular activities. From “Tamil Mandram”, they are participating in all type of competitions. The cultural programme being conducted once in a year is very popular in the college. Student Chairman and Secretary are being selected by College Election. NCC and NSS services are serving the society in a good manner.
