[edit] Re-write?
The features of the software need to be explained in this article or otherwise links to other articles should be present. - 74.112.174.10 20:10, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
- The description is indeed chocked-full of technical jargon, however that does not make it an advertisement.
- What exactly needs to be rewritten?
- You expect something like this instead:
- 1) "Dood, install it and leech mad warez!" or
- 2) "It's okay, but not as much warez as on the mule and donkey networks" or
- 3) "Both those P2P suckzors, use bit torrent to download the latest TV episodes instead"
- Just curious.. :-)

- The article is heavy in technical jargon. It is not an advertisement. It mainly consists of informtation taken from "http://gtk-gnutella.sourceforge.net/en/?page=features". I will re-write it and anyone is free to edit it.

- Well, I have changed the text under features. I am sure I have many things wrong with grammar, spelling, commom wiki use, etc. I didn't know how to cite books. This is only relavent for the sentence on Shareaza. However, the BitTorrent Wiki also contains information on the multi-network nature of Shareaza. "Steal This File Sharing Book" does have many references on strengths and weaknesses of different peer-to-peer networks. However, it does not mention Gtk-gnutealla directly; mainly as the author is Windows and Mac biased.

I have added links to Gnutella client comparisons. Perhaps these should be references. I don't know Wiki protocols well enough (or how to make references). I think they do add support (maybe contradiction?) to what is written.
