gtkterm
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
gtkterm is a terminal emulator written with GTK+. Lightweight and simple, gtkterm is unfortunately moribund, with no commits since late 2004. The project's sourceforge page redirects to the German home page.
gtkterm is also the name of a KDE/Gnome terminal program that drives serial ports. It's billed on the author's web site as 'a "clone" of the famous HyperTerminal', but it adds the ability to show the received characters as hex, and send hex characters to the serial port. The user can also set the hardware handshaking lines. This makes it more like the Windows-based RealTerm. This gtkterm seems to have been last updated in November 2005.
