Hi, my name is Caleb Piercy. I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at Georgia Tech. I consider my expertise to be archery and survival. I've competed in about 200 archery tournaments across the United States for the past 15 years and I use nearly every type of equipment for both target and field applications. This year I started the Archery Club at Georgia Tech and I plan to develop my teaching skills in that area. I grew up hunting and camping with my dad at any available occasion. My dad taught me all the survival techniques he learned growing up and in the military and I've read a stack of books on the subject. Now that I've moved out I spend anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks at a time roving the Georgian wilderness and I'd like to write my own book on survival someday. In August 2010 I fly to Main, USA to begin hiking the Appalachian Trail, which I'll be documenting extensively. My other areas of interest include physics, religion, programming, singing, animation, and teaching. I can be contacted at caleb.piercy@gmail.com for anyone who'd like to share ideas or just make friends. Thanks.
