Grand Theft Auto V is an upcoming sandbox-style action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North. It will be the tenth title in the Grand Theft Auto series and it's second in its fourth generation. The game was confirmed by Sam Houser on April 22 2008 in an interview with 1up.com. It is unknown when it will be released although it is approximated to be released in 2012.
[edit] Xbox 360 Disc Size
In the same interview, Sam Houser stated that the disc drives on the Xbox 360 games console may be small to fit GTA V on. He said in the interview: "One of the problems with the 360, and it affects games like Grand Theft Auto if you think about how much content we put in the actual machine, is the fact that they don't have a significantly larger storage medium than the previous systems. It's a slightly bigger DVD disc. The 360 is going to have to get 'round this issue we're talking about...hopefully, they're going to adopt one of those in the next year or so, because it's going to become more of an issue. If we're filling up the disc right now, where are we going? It's not like our games are going to get any smaller."
