[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia!

Dear Gstar4: Welcome to Wikipedia, a free and open-content encyclopedia. I hope you enjoy contributing. To help get you settled in, I thought you might find the following pages useful:

Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes.

If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Wikipedians try to follow a strict policy of never biting new users. If you are unsure of how to do something, you are welcome to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator. One last bit of advice: please sign any discussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again welcome to Wikipedia, and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD! HighInBC 20:21, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] NPOV

Regarding your edits to Khalistan. Please see WP:NPOVm WP:RS and WP:CITE before making unsourced controversial edits. If you fail to discus your edits reasonably in the article talk page then arbitration will be warranted.Hkelkar 06:24, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 3rr

You are coming close to violating 3rr on Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you.

[edit] Please use talk pages

You're more than welcome to contribute, but I do ask that you please use talk pages to develop consensus before completely rewriting an article. Please listen to and discuss the concerns of other editors -- you'd expect them to do the same for you, right? Luna Santin 20:30, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked for 8 hours

You have been blocked for 8 hours for violations of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to continue editing after the block expires, but please make an effort to discuss your changes with other users on the talk pages in future rather than blandly reverting. Stifle (talk) 20:39, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] v

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Chittisinghpura massacre, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Birdsmight 10:16, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] hate

Your "right to edit" does not give you the right to misrepresent references and spread hateful lies against Hindus. You don't see people spreading hatred against Sikhs (whom I have utmost respect for) on wikipedia. Do you? Wikipedia is not about "the truth" as seen from the eyes of neurotic NRI Sikhs with chips on their shoulders. It's about WP:Verifiability. Memorize that.Birdsmight 07:30, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

Next time try to find some sources to back up your unquenchable hate for Hindus. See this and this? Wikipedia says so. If you can't find reliable sources for your hate then take your nonsense to a khalistani website. Birdsmight 10:22, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Warning

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly, as you are doing in Chittisinghpura massacre. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. Birdsmight 10:33, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Personal attack

Please stop. If you continue to make personal attacks on other people, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Thank you. [1] Birdsmight 11:07, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked

[edit] Regarding reversions[2] made on March 19, 2007 to Chittisinghpura massacre

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.
