GS1 Canada

GS1 Canada is the GS1 member organization in Canada.

GS1 Canada is responsible for managing the GS1 System in Canada. GS1 Canada issues and maintains Company Prefix Licenses in Canada, most commonly used in the creation of globally-unique bar codes or Global Trade Item Numbers (GTINs).

GS1 Canada was formerly known as the Electronic Commerce Council of Canada (ECCC).
