[edit] Taking Back Sunday Genre

Hi, Thanks for the message. As for your opinion on the genre of the band, we need a veritable source for that genre, which was included on the genre link that was originally posted. It's nothing personal against you, its just in the interest of keeping the article correct. Grunge could certainly be included as an "influence", as are punk, hardcore and emo. Also, the image you uploaded had no copywright status, so that's one reason it was removed, the other image was also put in its place because it is a more up to date image of the band, while the image you uploaded was several years old. Hope this helped! --DieHard2k5 01:40, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re:

oh okay, im new to wikipedia so im still a bit unfamiliar. By the way, TBS is from Amityville New York, although Amityville is on Long Island. It says it here http://www.starpulse.com/Music/Taking_Back_Sunday/index.html

here http://www.guitarmasta.net/t/taking_back_sunday/

and here in the notable residents area http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amityville

this is interesting, grunge " is a genre of alternative rock inspired by hardcore punk, heavy metal, and indie rock. ", which is not too unlike TBS :P

anyway, good luck with wikipedia. hope that info helps some

That works, I'll revert the band location. As in the grunge detail, if you can come up with a link to a veritable source that gives them a grunge genre, I'll be happy to include it with the article.

Thanks. --DieHard2k5 02:15, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
