[edit] Some questions
- What is SRI?
- What is the Emergency Response Cell?
- What are the sources for this article? There are references to newspapers saying things, but they don't even identify the newspapers, let alone the particular articles. - Jmabel | Talk 21:57, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

Hello Jmabel!
1. SRI stands for Serviciul Roman de Informatii, or the Romanian Intelligence Service.
2. The answer to that question is incorporated in the article: "It is highly unlikely that the President himself, who was the head of the Emergency Response Cell created to deal with the hostage crisis"
3. Some sources: This article could be the citation for the first "citation needed" part: http://www.adevarulonline.ro/arhiva/2006/Februarie/1351/175779.html. It also has a photo in which you can see what I said in the part where you've added the third "citation needed". I think these are the citations needed in the 1st and 3rd citation needed parts.
President's Basescu's speech can be found, integrally, on the presidency website right here: http://www.presidency.ro/?_RID=det&tb=date&id=6331&_PRID=
I haven't found yet the article quoted in the 2nd citation, but I'm still looking. The newspaper was Evenimentul Zilei, but they have re-arranged their archives. I'm always here to answer more questions :) WikiRaptor 00:14, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
