User:Ground
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I frequently use Wikipedia as a resource, but rarely edit. I wrote my profile below when I was more involved as an editor.
I use Firefox with the BugMeNot, Mouse Gestures, Adblock, FLST, and Linkification extensions. See www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1299854/posts for a valuable way to improve Firefox's speed.
I was born on July 14, 1986. A native of Syracuse, New York, I now attend Stony Brook University on Long Island.
I am more of a cleanup-and-wikification sort than an author of original articles. At the moment, I do not participate to a large degree in community pages such as VfD or FAC. However, I do idle in the Wikipedia IRC channel.
My first substantive addition was made to Eugene McCarthy on October 2, 2004. So far I am most proud of the article on Douglas Wilder. I believe images greatly enhance the content of any article and encourage visitors to keep reading; as such, I try to legally add images to articles that I deem important.
Articles I have created from scratch:
- Armstrong High School (Richmond, Virginia)
- Base (politics)
- Elizabeth Holtzman
- Heifer International
- IronMind
- Party switching in the United States (originally Party switching)
- Ray Davis (U.S. Marine)
- Samuel C. Armstrong
- Steve Brodner
- Terry Richardson
- Underdog (competition)
- Upset
You can read further about me here.
[edit] Notes to myself

- create Kyle Maynard - [1]
