[edit] List of Group A cars

I don't think the list is very useful and it's very unaccurate IMO. It doesn't include the various version of the Lancia Delta argably the most succesfull Group A car in Rally. On the other hand I don't think the Simca Rally 3 was homologated : it wasway to old when the Group A regulation was introduced. What else I don't believe such a list is a realistic project it will need several pages as many cars were homologated in Group A (for instance the Renault 4). It would be more realistic to create a Group A car tag.Ericd 17:17, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Since the above comments were made, the Lancia Delta has been included, but I agree with the general statement above, as many others are missing, like the Ford Mustang which was raced in Group A in Australia. Plus as mentioned, some Renault, plus Peugeot, Fiat and many others. There is a PDF available from FIA showing all homologated cars with document name like Historic_Pre_Homologations showing several thousand homologations in Groups 1, 2, 3... Groups A, B etc.
Maybe the list should be a separate page. One other possible way would be a list of 5 most successful (who decides?) Group A Touring Cars and 5 most successful Group A Rally Cars. Does anyone else have any thoughts on this? --Xagent86 12:19, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
