[edit] Storyline

Can someone please tell me about how this game ends?

That would ruin it for you. ;)
But this is an encyclopedia. Shouldn't you provide those who don't want to play the game information on how the game ends. 220.239.44.145 13:31, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
I'd do it, and stick spoiler tags on it, but I can't remember how it ends. Any excuse to play the game again. DarthInsinuate 08:21, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
Deacon Stone and Major Sarah unite to prevent the alliance between the crayvern and order of the new dawn from activating doom weapons that will end the world. Typical. -Superkala
How about the expansion? Will they get to steal the Astrid, or is that supposed to happen after the expansion? Chronolegion 12:48, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
I'd like to see a longer spoilerish story overview, too. Ground Control's probably the best tactical rts ever but it had one *huge* flaw. No mid-mission saves. I had a slightly unstable PC at that time and the later missions were simply too long for it =( 82.135.9.110 23:01, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Screenshots

I have quite a few screenshots of this game, including the mission briefing and squad configuration, should the article be edited to include more? Theo148 01:06, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

This article is already running a little high on its screenshot quota, but we can make space for a squad config screenshot. - KingRaptor 01:38, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Ok, and I've noticed that the gameplay section doesn't have any mention of the squad configuration. -Theo148 01:41, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Hm? It does mention unit class/item selection and dropships, although it might need to be a little clearer. Anyway, the screenshot should clear things up somewhat (a picture is worth a thousand words). - KingRaptor 01:48, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Screenshot added, but I think it should be a bit bigger. -Theo148 02:25, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Hmm. Don't you have a larger one? I'd get one, but I uninstalled my copy and deleted the FilePlanet installer. :(
If you do get a larger one, crop the black space around the menu. - KingRaptor 05:00, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Done, it's much clearer now. - Theo148 07:01, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Still played in multiplayer

Is it worth mentioning in article that despite being quite old and having a sequel, that game is still played on multiplayer mode regularly on fridays? Its played on every friday evening/night(by european timezones) and occasionally also on other days.--Staberinde 09:45, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
