The brotherhood of renewal is a secret band dedicated to the return of Danh Gem in the book The Simoqin Prophecies. The members include

Bali is the lord of the vanars. He is described as an extremely strong and skillful fighter. He decides that the vanars had made a great mistake in the great war by not aligning with Danh Gem.

[edit] Bjorkun

Bjorkun is a Skuan lord. He is described as a pirate, robber and cutthroat. He decides on including asurs in the plot, and kills Leer, so as to get the support of the Koli asurs. He is a very strong and fierce Skuan lord, who , along with Bali make up the plan for the return of Danh Gem. He plays a prominent role in the first book , but surprisingly does not figure at all in The Manticore's Secret.

Scourge of the Artaxerxian sands. He does not even show his face to his own men. He is revealed to be the son of the sultan. He is openly suspicious of Kirin and his motives.

The King of the Imokoi asurs. He has named himself the 'Supreme commander of the divine army'.

The translator of king Leer, he becomes prime minister under Hooba

The cousin of Danh Gam himself, he joins the brotherhood much later.

[edit] Spikes

Spikes, the pashan is one of the important characters in the trilogy. He is the son of Katar, the personal friend of Danh Gem. He is different from other pashans as he is shorter, being only about six feet tall but wider and has spikes and claws all over his body, which appear whenever he is angry or in danger. Moroever he was clever, too unlike other pashans.

Spikes is sent as an ambassador to Kol in The Manticore's Secret.

The sister of Bali, she becomes the queen of the vanars after he dies.

Hooba runs a shop in Kol's Lost Street, from where Kirin collects items to manufacture the "Stuff"

Hooba later on becomes the king of asurs, after King Leer is slayed at the second meeting of the Brotherhood of Renewals.

A samurai who said his name was not important. He was killed while trying to steal the Gauntlet of Tatsu.

[edit] The Rainbow Council

The Rainbow council of shapeshifters is a secret organization in Kol. They are known only by their colors and it is highly speculative who they can be.

Red is part of the Rainbow Council. Her father, Icelosis had been Red before her. However, Red is very different from the rest of the Rainbow Council because she often breaks their rules.

She assumes the form of Maya and goes along to Izakar with him. Kirin realized that she wa a rakshasi but he somehow felt that she was important. She should play an important role in the forthcoming part of the Game World Trilogy, called the Unwaba Revelations.

Four of the shapeshifters ( Yellow, Green, Blue , Indigo ) are killed in the ravian attack on Kol. the other two go into hiding.
