The Security Group for the Presidency of the Republic (French: Groupe de sécurité de la présidence de la République) (GSPR) is a presidential security unit for the President of France. It has 25 gendarmes and since the time of President Chirac also 25 policemen. A Lieutenant-Colonel or a Commissaire divisionnaire is in charge.
