The Groupe de Recherches Musicales (GRM) is a French organisation for research into sonology and electroacoustic music. It was created by Pierre Schaeffer in 1958 as part of the ORTF with François Bayle as its head (1966-1997), then Daniel Teruggi. In 1975, the GRM was integrated with the new Institut national de l'audiovisuel (INA).
