Groupe Scolaire Officiel de Butare

The Groupe Scolaire Officiel de Butare, in Butare, Rwanda, is one of the oldest secondary schools in the country. It was established in 1929 by the Brothers of Charity to educate Rwandans to assist the Belgian colonial administration.

In 2004 President Kagame visited the school to celebrate its 75th anniversary and thank the Brothers of Charity.
