Formed in 2005, Israel, the Gopius Ensemble is a group of outstanding young musicians dedicated to performing the masterpieces and new creations of the chamber-symphonic repertoire. The ensemble is a reflection of the highest level artistic creation and interpretation in Israel today.
The Gropius Ensemble holds a special interest in the Interdisciplinary art and has been collaborating with many of Israel foremost composers, dancers and actors. Recent collaborations include: actors Itay Tiran and Alex Ansky, Dancer and Choreographer Oron Dahan and composers Matan Porat, Gilad Hochman and Josef Bardanashvili
The musicians that make this unique ensemble are graduates of some of the worlds leading institutions such as the Juilliard School of Music in New York, the Herbert von Karajan Academy in Berlin the Royal Academy of Music in London and the Beit Zvi school of Drama in Israel to name a few.
