The groovebelly stingray (Dasyatis hypostigma) is a species of fish in the Dasyatidae family. It is found in Brazil, possibly Argentina, and possibly Uruguay. Its natural habitats are open seas, shallow seas, and estuarine waters. It is threatened by habitat loss.
