Category:Groups connected to the Khazars

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This category groups political, economic and ethnic groups connected with the Khazar Khaganate. Some, such as the Arsiyah and North Caucasian Huns, were subject nations or component peoples of the Khazar tribal federation. Some, such as the Akatziroi, Sabirs and K'o-sa, are groups identified by some scholars as the forbears of the Khazars; while still others, such as the Crimean Karaites and Kumyks, are regarded or regard themselves as being either in whole or in part descended from the Khazars.
