Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thanks for your work on our Betrayal at Krondor article. It adds a lot of in-depth information that greatly improves the article. However, I urge you to read our neutral point of view policy before making more substatial contributions to Wikipedia. Sentences like "The graphics are the only downside of this game. Mostly it uses a funny 3-D engine. This is pre-Quake, pre-Doom so it's not very pretty" are not appropriate for an encyclopedia article. Taco Deposit | Talk-o to Taco 23:42, May 15, 2005 (UTC)
- Your recent edit to Hillary Clinton presidential campaign office hostage crisis reintroduced vandalism that had been reverted. Please be more careful in the future. Natalie 01:07, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, I wasn't intending to be overbearing. I was just letting you know what happened, in case you weren't aware. Natalie 01:12, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- Indeed. It was just a coincidence that I looked at the history probably immediately after you edited. The admin rollback button is also a faster way to revert than the undo button. Natalie 01:16, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] My Michelle Undeletion
OK. I will undelete it, but if you have concerns with the notability, you should talk to Spebi, who originally placed the prod tag there (I just went around and deleted all of the expired prods). jj137 ♠ 15:03, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
- Hi GrimmC. I've posted my reply to your query to my talk page. Cheers, Spebi 21:43, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] GN'R photo
You can upload them on to wikipedia, but just give me a link on my talk page to them. Nice job finding good ones. —Burningclean [Speak the truth!] 00:57, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
- Those are all great pictures, you could probably use all of them in the article if you have the copywrite. I personnaly have never uploaded a band image. You need wikicommons I believe, ask User:M3tal H3ad he's good with this stuff, and alot of other stuff. —Burningclean [Speak the truth!] 02:22, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
- Great work for the pictures. The article is still far from GA. There are fact tags and al whole bunch of other stuff. They were a band that was popular before the internet was, so the only good source would be books, there isn't a whole lot on the web. —Burningclean [Speak the truth!] 21:58, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
Great, thanks! And the "November Rain" article looks fine; I can't see many weasal words and the thingss that need sources have {{fact}} tags now, so there's no need for the tag at the top of the page. Funeral 20:51, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Photos
To get photos from flickr and use them on Wikipedia you need the user to change the license of the photo to either Commons Creative Share Alike Attribution or Commons Creative Attribution NOTE: you cannot use ones with "non-commercial" included. The different is that with Share Alike you are given permission to modify the image. The best way to get permission is to send the user flick mail instead of posting on the actual photo. You can see the license in the right-hand column
Once you get permission upload the picture to the Commons website — as that is where freely licensed photos should go. Go to this http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Upload page and select "it is from flickr". From there find the image in your harddisk, name it, then use this tool http://wikipedia.ramselehof.de/flinfo.php by inputting the image's ID in (it is in the URL bar when viewing the image, at the end) which automatically creates all the information of description/author/date etc. If i confused you somewhere feel free to ask a question, goodluck. - It was something about that the content on Wikipedia links to websites that are commercial. I'm sure you can find the information somewhere on wikicommons. You can e-mail the user for specific use of the photo but changing the license is the easiest and quickest thing to do. M3tal H3ad (talk) 02:03, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
