[edit] Solomon
"Anyone named Solomon in today's society is considered the greatest of all men. Those with this name are considered wise men with the natural ability to rule."
This is not true. Your re-edit seems just as invalid as my "vandalism." If you care to source this material with solid statistical evidence showing that those bearing the name "solomon" are in fact the "greatest of all men" and considered "wise" and possess the natural ability to rule, then please do so. Until then, I will continue to edit this strange piece of information in the Solomon page. Thanks!

[edit] Thomas Jefferson
You have my IP address as having "vandalized" the Thomas Jefferson page. I, NJensen, have not edited the Thomas Jefferson page at all. I'm not sure why I'm receiving this message, but I have only made one edit; that was in the Latter Day Saint category. My IP is 207.70.152.4

[edit] Trebek effect
This article contains no sourcing to indicate it's a common term. While I'm not an expert in the field of linguistics, I'm a pretty big Jeopardy! fan and I feel like I would have heard of this so-called "effect" before. I'm nominating this article for deletion. [edit] Animals
I didn't think it was going to get that big, are there that many? I would just say let it grow organically, once it reaches a splitting point someone will split it. -Ravedave 19:21, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Sorry for unhelpful editing
Dear Grika:
I am sincerely sorry for editing your Wilkipedia in a manner that was considered "unhelpful or unconstructive." Please forgive me, as I am new to the Wilkipedia. I love it! I will be sure to use the sandbox quite frequently--when I was a small child, I used to love to play in a sandbox.
Are you the owner of Wilkipedia? If you are, I would appreciate any information you can send me about it. Once again, I apologize for my unhelpfulness.
Most sincerely, Akmak03

[edit] Wilkipedia article Brooke Ellison
Dear Grika,
I am so sorry that my edits to Brooke Ellison were considered vandalism. I am still waiting for the information on Wilkipedia that you promised to send me. As I said earlier, I am new to the Wilkipedia and I am still learning the "rules."
However, I am certain that the man who directed Brooke Ellison's story is named Christopher Jeeves. Please change the Brooke Ellison page to reflect this. You have 5 days to do this, please.
Also, please post the necessary Wilkipedia information on my Wilkipedia usertalking page as soon as pissible. Thank you very much! :-D
Sincerely,
Akmak03 12:31, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
P.S. I love the sandbox! :-D
[edit] Sincere ignorance
Grika,
I assure you that my ignorance is not feigned.
What is more, you are correct: I can not yet appreciate what the Wilkipedia strives for, because you have not sent me the information about the Wilkipedia that you promised to send me. However, I am still willing to accept this information (along with your apology).
Please do not speak to me disparagingly with the words such as "sappy." Please DO send me the promised Wilkipedia information very soon. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Akmak03 12:36, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thank you
Dear Grika,
Thank you so very much for the informations that you posted on my Wilkipedia usertalking page. I am so appreciating. I have just received the information and will not wait to use it! Thank you again for your kindness.
Most sincerely,

Please do not remove my edit, recreational suicide is a real problem among the youth of today. [edit] User talk:Grrrmrgrrr
Hello Grika. Could you look at this page again, and the user's contributions? The user's first edit was obvious vandalism but the latter ones may have been well-intentioned. I took them to be vandalism and posted a test3; your test4 then followed. But the edits, although faulty, may not have been vandalism and I would like to give the user the benefit of a doubt. My apologies if my (perhaps mistaken) assumption on the intent behind a mistaken edit, influenced the level of your warning. Thanks. Kablammo 21:05, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] AIV report
Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize even after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you. Anas talk? 16:11, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

I made a new template for all the fauna and flora lists of minnesota. Looking at the pages, most were created by you and don't have any references. Do you remember where you got the lists? -Ravedave 03:38, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:NicolletWaterTowers.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:NicolletWaterTowers.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 04:09, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Meetup RSVP
[edit] Minneapolis meetup photos
Hi, Grika. Barely had a chance to meet you, maybe next time. Hope you are well. If you have photos of the meetup at Pracna on Main could you kindly send them to me by email or upload them? Did you take any or hand off your camera? Sorry to be so late but I distinctly remember smiling at a dark haired man in a black shirt, but I didn't think he was you. Maybe sitting to your left. Boy, I can still see him! Nobody else even remembers except now I remember because someone on the meetup talk page thought you had a camera. My web site has an email address on the home page (linked from my User page here). Thanks a bunch. -Susanlesch (talk) 20:46, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:G.I.JoeArabic.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:G.I.JoeArabic.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 20:02, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of B'nai Emet Synagogue
A tag has been placed on B'nai Emet Synagogue requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - Too bad action wasn't taken in time to save this stub to make it into a decent article. IZAK (talk) 10:51, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Requesting your attention
Hi Grika: As you can tell, your above contributions of stub articles for synagogues in Minnesota (all of which were initially created by you mostly in early 2007) that have come under fire with some editors wishing to delete many of them. This matter has come to my attention and I have managed to save two of the articles by researching the topics and adding citations, see Adas Israel Congregation (Duluth) and Adath Jeshurun Congregation (Minnetonka). As a result of this situation, there have been serious discussions about many aspects and rationales for creating and/or deleting stub-size articles about synagogues, see the presently ongoing votes at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adas Israel Congregation and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adath Jeshurun Congregation, as well as more background discussions about this matter at User talk:IZAK#Deletions on Wikipedia and at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Judaism#Deletion of synagogue articles. In light of the foregoing, may I respectfully request that you should:
- Please respond and participate in the above discussions, especially the very important votes at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adas Israel Congregation and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adath Jeshurun Congregation because after all you were the one who created these stubs in the first place and after repeated requests you have not bothered to defend your creations and express your views, something that is very odd. By participating you would also learn of the consequences of your actions as well as have a chance to explain that the Jewish synagogues are indeed notable, something that has fallen to me to do when it should have been your job in the first place!
- Please refrain from creating multiple stub articles on any topic unless you are willing to expand them within a reasonable amount of time or will be calling on other editors to help you, such as asking for assistance at Wikipedia:WikiProject Judaism for articles that pertain to any aspects of Jews and Judaism to show that you are looking for and working to obtain fuller information and reliable sources for stubs that you create, and not leave the job for later editors to do all the heavy lifting and take up the defense of your creations. I am told that Wikipedia is tightening up its rules for stubs altogether.
- Please take a look at the List of synagogues in Minnesota that you created and as soon as possible start on researching and improving the stubs that you have created and that have become the focal point of much controversy at the present time. In particular, some that have been tagged since September of 2007: Adath Israel Orthodox, Beth El Synagogue, B'nai Emet Synagogue, Kenesseth Israel Congregation, Mount Zion Temple, Shir Tikvah Congregation.
- Please add the name/s of the closest significant geographic and/or legal boundary when creating articles for congregations with Hebrew names, because, as you note in Temple Israel "Numerous Jewish synagogues around the United States are named...[(Congregation H_e_b_r_e_w N_a_m_e")]. You did this with one or two of them, but this needs to be done more carefully to make each article is very specific since Jews have traditionally chosen certain common repetative names for many synagogues. Thus I renamed (and redirected) Adas Israel Congregation to Adas Israel Congregation (Duluth) and Adath Jeshurun Congregation to Adath Jeshurun Congregation (Minnetonka).
- Please explain why you added Messianic and Hebrew Christian congregations to the list of Minnesota synagogues which is both highly controversial and disputed and only creates confusion in the minds of readers because from the point of view of Judaism anything to do with Messianic Judaism is connected to Christianity only. For such congregations you should instead have listed them separately in List of Messianic and Hebrew Christian congregations in Minnesota as in List of Messianic and Hebrew Christian congregations and Category:Messianic and Hebrew Christian congregations.
Thank you for attending to the above points and I look forward to your response as soon as possible. Thank you very much. IZAK (talk) 09:26, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Minneapolis meetup photos
Hi, checking back, I wondered if my note was swamped by synagogues and pardon this note if that is not the case. It is up several topics now, right under the meetup invitation. [edit] Beth El Synagogue
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Beth El Synagogue, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Beth El Synagogue. Docg 15:10, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Third request for meetup photos
Hello, Grika. My name is Susan. Last September I sent care of this page an invitation to a 2007 Wikipedia meetup. I was happy to see you attended and sorry not to have a chance to talk with you even for a minute like many of the others. As it turns out it was likely you who took my photograph at least once maybe more than once. Would you kindly try to locate your photos and send them to me by email? My email address is here on your talk page (please no replies on my talk page). Thank you and best wishes. -Susanlesch (talk) 00:43, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
