[edit] Plot
As part of a new rehabilitation program, eight troubled young adults are sent to serve a week of community service in a remote California state forest range called Grizzly Park. Under the supervision of the stalwart Ranger Bob, the troubled group is given an opportunity to seek redemption on their journey through the forest. While Ranger Bob seeks to provide both literal and spiritual guidance to the youngsters, an escaped serial killer with an insatiable bloodlust has also found his way into the park with every intention of disposing of anyone in his path. But he is not the only lethal hunter in these woods.
A serial killer named Butch has escaped from the prison and is on the loose. A park ranger is fixing his van when approached by Butch and Butch kills him off, steals his clothes and drives to the rehabilitation centre to pick up 8 troubled youths. He pretends to be a police officer and takes them to a remote part of the forest where he plans to kill them all and the park rangers. On arrival, the group meets Ranger Bob, who will be taking them along the forest trails to clean them up as part of the community service. As they set off, Butch murders the only other park ranger in the whole forest. Now it's just Butch, Ranger Bob and the 8 youths. As night falls, Butch sets off with one thing in mind, and that's to kill the young offenders. He gets to a cabin where he's collecting weapons and other things when he hears something. He turns around to come face to face with a grizzly bear, which rips him to shreds. We later see a wolf eating his dismembered arm still holding the knife. While the group stops for a break, Bebe needs to go to the toilet, so she goes behind a mountainside and sees a "forest cat", which is actually a skunk, but she doesn't know that and it follows her back and sprays everyone.Kiki and Ti decide to take a shortcut and disobey Ranger Bob by running away and try to get there 2 hours earlier than the rest of the group. Here we find out why each of them are here in the first place, however, there was a reason Ranger Bob told them not to take that path and that's because there are wolf traps all over the place. Ty gets stuck in one and has his legs broke. They try to use the cell phone for help but remember that they let Candy use it. Ty loses a lot of blood, which attracts wolves that eat Kiki. Ty screams "I'm not gonna die here!" and then turns around to find a giant grizzly bear, which eats him alive.Back at the camp everyone is starting to wonder where Ty and Kiki are and Ranger Bob says that if they aren't back in the morning he'll go looking for them. The camp cleans up and does their chores and go to bed. There we see that Scab has a bit of a crush on Lola and that Trixter is planning on scaring the girls into sleeping in their cabin by putting on a bear suit and trying to mislead Ranger Bob. By morning, Kiki and Ti are nowhere to be seen, so Ranger Bob sets out looking for them and leaves the group alone. A full day passes and Ranger Bob still isn't back, so they all go off doing their own thing. Lola finds Scab inhaling petrol and asks what he's doing. She kisses him and he steals her gun from her pants but she gets it back. They go back to the middle of camp were everyone is sitting around the fire and talk for a while. Scab runs off to inhale some more petrol whilst Trixter gets into the bear suit. Scab is high on petrol fumes and the grizzly bear comes towards him but he thinks its Trixter and starts talking to it, asking if he can wear the head. He tries to pull of the bear's head and obviously it eats him. Meanwhile, Trixter scares everyone in the bear costume but they quickly realise that it's not a real bear. The real grizzly turns up behind him and rips off half of his head. Back on the shortcut track, Ranger Bob searches for the missing youths and finds a bloody boot and half of Kiki's face. At the camp, the bear eats Lola, who they locked out of the barn and the last 3 members fear for their lives. Ryan checks to see if the bear is gone, but it grabs him and eats him. Bebe decides to run when the bear breaks through but she locks Candy inside and leaves her to her fate. In the morning, Ranger Bob returns to see Bebe under a desk in the cabin with an axe. They hug and decide to leave. Bebe tells him she needs to use the toilet and he leaves her in a cabin alone. She empties Candy's bag on the floor and takes out the lip gloss that Candy wouldn't let her use. She laughs and puts some on and takes the cell phone and calls someone. We find out that she wasn't actually dumb, it was all an act and the ranger overhears her almost gloating that she was the survivor of the bear attacks and that she planned on killing Ranger Bob. She goes out to find him and turns around only to find the grizzly. It claws out her silicone implant and kills her. We then see Ranger Bob with the bear and he says to it "Don't worry about me, I'll be back next year.",basically stating he intended for none of them to survive.
