Grimsby Parish Church

Grimsby Parish Church is a church in Grimsby, England. It is best known for being the only parish church in England to have its own Choir School. St James' School was founded in 1880 by Canon James Peter Young to provide boy choristers for St James' Church. The school is now a co-educational school of the Woodard Corporation and a member of the Choir Schools' Association. The current Rector is Canon Michael Hunter; the Organist & Master of the Choristers is Anthony Pinel. Former organists include Martin How, Dennis Townhill, Robert Walker, Andrew Shaw, Steven Maxson and Andrew Cantrill.

Ashley Draper- ex- chorister now sings tenor for the choir. Adam Rodgers- ex-chorister now sings bass for the choir. Oliver Woods- ex- chorister now sings alto for the choir.

They are currently seeking new choristers. Applications may be made through the parish office or St. James School.
