Grimbergen Abbey
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Abbey Church of Saint Servatius in Grimbergen, Flanders, Belgium, elevated to the status of basilica in 1999, is considered one of the most beautiful and best-integrated baroque churches in the Low Countries.[citation needed] Originally constructed as part of the Nortbertine abbey, the building, dedicated to Saint Servatius, also serves as the parish church of Grimbergen.
A complete description of the church, from which this introduction is taken, is available in the Dutch Wikipedia.
