Grihasree ( http://www.grihasree.in ) is a revolutionary concept in Malayalam Journalism the most vibrant regional journalistic medium in India. This monthly magazine is the first comprehensive free home magazine in Kerala. This is published by Medianext Mass Communications Private Limited based at gjTrivandrum the capital city of Kerala. The magazine was provided free to half a million subscribers of Asianet Satelltie Communications an MSO which is the largest cable and internet provider in the State of Kerala. After six issues, Asianet took up the space selling activities of the magazine using its cable channel arm Asianet Cable Vision. Distribution is now being done by through the Postal Service. The circulation of the magazine is streamlined in such a way that the magazine is now being given free to all the subscribers who pay the cable subscription in lump sum.
