Grigory Arutyunov

Grigory Artyomovich Arutyunov (1900-1957) was the first Secretary of the Communist Party of the Armenian SSR from September 1937 to 12 March 1953. His tenure as party secretary was the longest in Armenian SSR history.

He was preceded by Amatuni Semyonovich Vartapetyan, and followed by Suren Akopovich Tovmasyan
