Should this include Cyprus as well?Slogankid 12:24, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Yes. I wasn't able to find a way to show Greece, Turkey and Cyprus at the same time on the top left-hand corner, so I chose the bilateral Greece-Turkey template. However I will try to find a way to include flag(s) of Cyprus in some way. Maybe a geographical map of Cyprus :) Baristarim 00:36, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Articles in need of attention

  • Cypriot refugee- rewritten, discarded a lot of contentious material, would appreciate other users views/contributions. --A.Garnet 14:19, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Ongoing discussion at the Template talk:Cyprus-stub. Since there is no TRNC-stub, this led to an edit-war with the involvement of some administrators over the use of the Cyprus flag. It is currently under full protection, and the discussion seems to be straying off topic, so the involvement of a larger audience from the board would be useful, whatever the eventual outcome. • APOEL FC - With apologies if I am asking at the wrong place, there has been a complaint on the article's talk page that impertinent language, such as swearing) is being added to the article. I've removed what I could identify as vandalism, but I have no facility with the language(s) concerned, so I'm sure there is material I've missed. Could someone take a look and let me know? --Ssbohio 14:36, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

  • Greco-Turkish War (1919-1922) is undergoing an unpleasant revert war over massacres. It is fairly vitriolic and the two (primary) combatants are not exactly communicating with each other. Argos'Dad 21:06, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
    • Please have a look at the article's talk page to see what's been proposed to get this article back on track. I was invited, as a neutral party, to attempt the resuscitation of a B-class entry. Please read the new editing rules prior to adding or revising material on the article page. Cordially, Drieux 01:03, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Articles in need of general improvement

Hello: I tried to get an edit through that was trying patch up some unintended pain that I caused as relating to Greco-Turkish war, but someone got my account and now they are trying to change my password! I wrote the e-mail as an apology for the strongly worded passage I wrote in January, 2007. I, as well as many people on both sides of the issue, still experience pain over this history. I wanted to let any of the Turks ( and any Greeks, too) who felt put off in any way by that entry that I wrote with strong words because of the pain, not because I wanted to attack anyone. Also I have learned a great deal about this terrible tragedy since I wrote about it last year. I am th one who lost her great great grandfather in the war and I understand there were many losses on both sides. And many of them civilian, even... Sincerely, NN
