Template:WIKI PROFILE

A tag has been placed on Template:WIKI PROFILE, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Willow177 13:39, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] User page guideline

Some of your user box comments appear to violate Wikipedia:User page. Note especially the part about polemical statements. Also see Wikipedia is not a soapbox. I recommend you tone down the page. And in case you wonder: I'm European and have no connection to USA. PrimeHunter 20:58, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Please excuse me, I'm a new user and was having some trouble with creating a suitable User Profile. I have learned my mistake and will not make it again. So please delete the Wiki Profile Template I created.

I would do it but do not know how too.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Greyfox-csa (talkcontribs)

I cannot delete pages. If you want the whole page deleted then you can blank it (remove all content) and place {{db-author}} on it. But it is not necessary to delete everything to satisfy Wikipedia:User page. It would be enough to remove the polemical statements in some of the user boxes. PrimeHunter 16:18, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Dear Primehunter:

Thanks for your input, but I actually think the item that was flagged has been taken care of; you see I tried to create an infobox on my user page, but ran into problems with getting the code to work, so I then tried blanking it out to delete it and started over with a new style using userboxes.

The current user profile page is fine, the problem exists with the orginal messed up Wiki-User Template I tried to create and blank, I do not want to delete any of my userboxes.

Thank you

You can sign talk page messages with ~~~~. I think some of your comments in the user boxes fall under Wikipedia:User page#What may I not have on my user page?, especially this one: "This user hates yankees, carpet baggers, and other vermin that infest and damage the liberty and natural beauty of Dixie". Keeping the user boxes with less controversial comments would be OK. PrimeHunter 17:40, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Primehunter:

Okay I have removed the offensive remarks about carpet baggers and yankees, is there any more complaints regarding the user buttons on my userpage, I believe everything else is non-offensive and is only controversial if you are a yankee or prescribe to their way of thinking.

Greyfox-csa 19:49, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for removing those remarks. Some of the others may be questionable but I will accept your wish to keep them. PrimeHunter 23:05, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Thank you sir, I will keep my anti-yankee thoughts to myself and apologize for the error in judgment by posting that user box on here.

I also thank you for seeing the Confederate side of this issue by allowing me to keep the other user boxes. I'm sad to say that I have become use to people ignoring the rights and feeling of Confederates, they treat us like we do not exist and when they do happen to acknowledge us they normally don't hesitate to step on us and act very prejudice towards us.

Again thank you,

The rights and feelings of Confederates are not ignored on Dixiepedia![1]

Awesome! I would love to help out in anyway I can with Dixiepedia! I have been laboring on a "War of Northern Aggression" story to post on Wikipedia in addition to Yankee War Crimes & Criminals, Ethnic Cleansing of Dixie, a wiki article for the Confederate People, b/c contrary to popular belief we are still around, I'm a Confederate not an American, and last but not least a detailed history of the Occupied Confederate States of America.

Please let me know how I can help out!
