[edit] Image copyrights

Hi there - nice to see a fellow Gooner on Wikipedia. However, I'm not sure about the copyright on the images you've added to the Arsenal F.C. page. For any image to be added to Wikipedia they must already be public domain, licenced under the GFDL, or created by yourself. Copyrighted images, which is what most images on the web are, are not allowed as it means Wikipedia could get into trouble for breaking copyright laws.

The Emirates Stadium pic is definitely copyrighted by the club, the Ian Wright picture I'm not sure on. If you can prove either image is licensed by GFDL or the public domain then please do so, else they'll have to go. Can you read the Wikipedia:Image_use_policy before posting any more images? Thanks. Please stop uploading poor quality (you should use PNG/GIF for logos) copyrighted images. If you must insist on using a logo under fair use, please get decent quality ones. ed g2stalk 19:55, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)

ed, who r u to tell me what images to upload?

well i got a gd 1 4 ya, pleased?
Better, but PNG is preferred format on Wikipedia to GIF. Also it is good to sign you comments using 4 tildes (~~~~) as it substitues in your name and the time, like this: ed g2stalk 15:10, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)
