[edit] License tagging for Image:Humphrey de Trafford.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Humphrey de Trafford.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 12:06, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Stretford Page
I have replied to your comments about "excessive editing", and changing "accurate" to "inaccurate" information on my talk page, but I'm repeating it here in case you don't see that.
"What information are you referring to? So far as I'm aware the only information that I've removed is unsourced information that can be easily put back if and when a verifiable source is found. And if you're aware of any inaccuracies then please feel free to point them out. I have been working on the Stretford article in an attempt to get it up to GA standard, and to pass its current GA review. So any help you can provide would be much appreciated."
Perhaps because of some original research you've carried out you may believe some information to be inaccurate, but I'm afraid that's not enough. It has to be verifiable, with third-party sources. Wikipedia:Verifiability --Malleus Fatuarum 21:05, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
