I recently spent a lot of time browsing and tinkering with astronomy-related articles while building the PlanetWerks 2 Opera widget. PlanetWerks 2 is a solar system simulation that runs right on your desktop without extra applications to install (unless you haven't yet installed Opera, heh!)

I like playing around with graphics occasionally and I've created some images for use on WP pages.

I find astronomy fascinating, but too often numbers and units are thrown around which aren't easily grasped conceptually. I'd like to create more images that illustrate the scales involved in celestial mechanics.
