Hello, I am GreyKey, an ALAP. I can't really create articles but I do have a good eye for typos so I used to trim here and there on articles written by others till one day my address was blocked (the proxy actually), so I needed to create an account to still be able to edit.

GreyKey refers to old PC keyboards that used to have some of the keys in a grey colour. It is a symbol to the idea of using old hardware as much as possible if no new one is really needed. Recycling computers is a Good Thing. Computers are wonderful machines and in the same time a big source of pollution and health hazards.

The ALAP thing I borrowed from the A Lowly Apprentice Production Inc. (ALAP), having always liked the idea of a "lowly apprentice" when describing one's struggles with doing things. ALAP Inc. was acquired by Quark in 2005 and actually Alap is "nowadays" a musical term, but I still like the idea, so I decided to call myself "an Alap" hoping not to harm anybody.
