Gregory Allen Yankey was born in Joliet, Illinois. Greg is a teacher at Nowata High School in Nowata, Oklahoma. He teaches Oklahoma history, geography, and world history. Greg married Elisabeth Gifford in December 2004. Greg and Elisabeth have two sons.
Previously Greg was employed by a law firm in Denton, Texas. Greg also served as the "cantor" at Colleyville Presbyterian Church, a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) when living in Texas. Greg, Elisabeth, and their boys are members of St. Michael's Anglican Church (Reformed Episcopal Church) in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma where Greg serves on the vestry. Greg is also a candidate for Holy Orders in that same denomination.
