The Company Curtin & Alf, up to ten years ago, was considered one of the best in the world for the production of contemporary violins. Also the famous violinist Ruggiero Ricci and other reputed musicians considered commissioning some special replicas from this firm. Today Mr. Alf appears to be as much noteworthy at least as his illustrious collegue Joseph Curtin. The Company splitted in 1997 but their high quality remains. All the web has documentation of this. They are quite appreciated also in Far Eastern Countries where I can guarantee their established value. --Kremona 14:16, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

There seems to be a source given on User talk:Kremona in response to a query I asked there; that may be a good starting point for sourcing the article. --ais523 16:17, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
